About Our Leadership     Linda Garrett-Johnson CEO and Principal Consultant   Linda Garrett-Johnson is someone who is stepping into her purpose as an author, public speaker, teacher; and leader in the area of helping component parts (people) understand why and how they are to connect, work, or come together to accomplish a goal bigger than themselves.  She will help you learn how to recognize the gifts in others (and yourself) and effectively use those gifts.  As the founder and principal consultant for The Word Applied, Inc. she provides resources and services that inspire individual and organizational change, with a focus on interrelationships, for a variety of organizations, including educational institutions, government agencies, foundations, corporations, and for profit and non-profit entities; and personal development for individuals.   Ms. Garrett-Johnson holds a Bachelors degree in Organization Development (Metropolitan State University) and an Associate in Applied Sciences degree  in Business Management (New York University).  Linda has been an adjunct professor for the University of St Thomas (Center for Business Excellence, Institute for Ministry Leaders) and for the University of Minnesota (Center for Public Health, Education and Outreach).   Linda is a born again, Spirit-filled Christian who attends Living Word Christian Center (Brooklyn Park, MN); and strives to live a life that is completely surrendered to God, lead by the Holy Spirit with evidence of the fruit of the characteristics of love (I Corinthians 13:4-8) present in her life.
